TO CONSIDER

  • When ordering, we recommend rounding up the quantity by 10% to account for waste. For example, if you need 1000 sq feet for your job, order 1100 sq ft.

  • We recommend acclimating solid wood flooring to its new environment for a minimum of 2 weeks as wood shrinks and expands with moisture and temperature changes. Order ahead of time as much as possible. See our FAQ's for more information.

  • A Special Note about Thickness: We can manufacture 1/2", 3/4" and up to 2" thick. At one time, 3/4" was the standard for hardwood flooring because flooring was a structural component to the home and the boards were placed directly on to floor joists. In most construction applications today, hardwood flooring is adhered to a subfloor, pardoning its need to be structural. We have and do manufacture flooring in various thicknesses and for various reasons such as homes don't have the clearance, so we provide 1/2" thickness, some have used 2" thickness as a ceiling / floor combo for a second story.
