Cleaning My Floors

“How do I take care of my Trinity Valley Floors?”

This is always a question we receive and here is what we recommend. Dust and dry mop as much as possible to keep them free of dust, lint, pet hair and debris. The hardwood floor attachment on your vacuum will work as well. For all polyurethane finishes, we suggest using BONA cleaning products. At our home, Lance and I BONA our floors once every two weeks, and we use the products sparingly and lightly to avoid build up and residue. For any pet accidents, or stubborn spills, a little elbow grease and a water damp towel works the best. Avoid using vinegar and cleaners that are not formulated for polyurethane finished wood floors as they will destroy the finish.
